"Clearly, what God wants above all is our will which we received as a free gift from God in creation and possess as though our own. When a man trains himself to acts of virtue, it is with the help of grace from God from whom all good things come that he does this. The will is what man has as his unique possession."
-Saint Joseph of Cupertino

St. Joseph of Cupertino...I should read that guy.
Lately I've been pondering how the grace of God works salvation and sanctification in the hearts of believers. I think I used to have a tainted view of "sanctification," thinking it was man's work and so I had to throw it out in order to maintain any form of sound soteriology. I have been reading the Scriptures in a different light and have been very blessed to find that, although it thoroughly involves man's effort, it remains God's work. Cool quote.

How are you doing btw? How are your classes going?

Oh, just to throw another idea out there real quick...is God "The Beautiful," or is beauty something distinct from Him?
